Mr. A. J. England, age 77 of Sparta passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 at his home.  He was born June 13, 1946 in Sparta to the late Alpha and Nancy Dilldine England.  He was also preceded in death by his Sister:  Audry Maxwell,  Sister-in-law: Donna England and a great grandson: Abraham Pettit.

A. J. was a life long Farmer and worked at the White County Bus Garage as a Mechanic. He attended the Hickory Valley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife:  Fran Young England

Son:  Allen (Donna) England

Daughter:  Crystal (Charlotte) Malone

4 Grandchildren:  Amanda (Nathan) Stout,  Whitney (Cameron) Lester, Nathan (Ashley) Pettit, and Zachary (Taya) Pettit

11 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.

3 Brothers:  Ray (Jewelene) England,  Tom England, and Mike (Vicky) England

2 Sisters:  Glenda Coffman and Joan (Lee) Stewart

Funeral services will be conducted  Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Taylor's Providence Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 5pm until 8pm on Wednesday evening at Hunter Funeral Home.  Phillip Luna, R.C. Christian, and Doug Benningfield will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Pettit, Zachary Pettit, Derrick Dale, Anthony Coffman, Grayson Perry, and Alex Savage.
