Ms. Angela Gail Harris Nichols, affectionately known by all that knew her as Cricket, age 59 of Sparta, passed away at 1:20pm on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at NHC Healthcare of Cookeville.

Cricket was born October 13, 1966 in Sparta, Tennessee to Sandra Faye Rogers Harris and the late Thomas Edward "Ed" Harris. Cricket was a former bail bondsman. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and as an adult she enjoyed coaching her children. She loved to play cards and put together puzzles but most of all she loved being Nana to her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clinton Lee Rogers and Alvilda Rogers Greene; paternal grandparents, Ola and Edgar Harris.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her mother Sandra Harris

Children: Kendal Acton, Clinton Harville, Haley Judkins, Christopher James, Fayth, Jessica, J.J. and Dominique Nichols

Grandchildren: Aubrey (Andrew) Mead, Austin Acton, Ryleigh, Cierra and Parklynn Judkins

Sisters: Teresa (Doug) Randolph and Mindy (Tony) Copeland

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, August 2, 2026 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Plainview Cemetery in the Cassville Community. The family will receive friends after 12:00pm Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home. Nathan Hawkins will officiate.

Dylan Copeland, Jeremy Sanders, Japeth Henegar, C.J. Nichols, J.T. Randolph and Michael Guy will serve as pallbearers.
