Anita Ann Smith Hunter, age 69 of White House, TN went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2024.

Anita was born July 8, 1954 to late William E. and Phyllis Smith. Anita was a long time employee of The Kroger Co. as a department manager where she retired after 35 years.

Anita loved spending time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed her and her husband's many trips to Gatlinburg to visit with friends and take in the beautiful mountain scenery.

She was preceded in death by her parents William E. and Phyllis Smith, Brother Randy Smith, Brother in-law Bruce Richardson and her father and mother in-law Thad and Jean Hunter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Thad Allensworth Hunter II.

Daughters: Amy (Shane) Heath and Sarah (Jason) Yott.
Step children: Mandy (Dan) Glick and Chad (Mary Helon) Hunter.

Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Heath, Shayna (Dyson) Reece, Amia Heath, Dominique Nichols, Maddux Yott, Erin (James) Nichols, Paiden Glick, Caleb Glick, Gabriel Glick, Bailey Hunter, Blaine Hunter, and Atley Hyde.

Great grandchildren: Smith Reece, Jeremiah Nichols, Kysen Davison, Kaden Davison, and K'Nyzley Davison.

Sister in-law: Vickie (Bobby) Holbrooks

Many loved nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thurday June 6, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Eastland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Thursday until service time at Hunter Funeral Home. Steve Qualls will officiate

Maddux Yott, Dyson Reece, Bryan Richardson, Chris Adams, Owen Adams, Griffin Adams and Wesley Young will serve as pallbearers.
