Anna Christine Wilson Dodson, age 96 of Sparta, passed away Wednesday Morning, October 20, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Dodson was born June 10, 1925 in White County to the late Cecil and Lilly Elizabeth Graham Wilson. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, inspirational literature and poetry reading. She could also be found using the phone and playing cards with friends. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Hubert Dodson; siblings and spouses, Arlene & Joe Wilson, Enola & Bob Crawford, Ethelene & Jim Miller, Robert Cecil & Reba Wilson; grandson Mark Christopher Stafford and great grandson Joshua Kole Norris.

Surviving family members include her daughter Betty Ann Stafford

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the covered pavilion of Old Union Cemetery. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. There will be an opportunity to visit with the family following the service. Bro. Derek Wilson and Adam Stafford will officiate.

Roger Wilson, J.M. Passons, Jimmy Dunham, Richard Moss, Dallas Hutson and Tyler Farsoun will serve the family as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Erby Young. In consideration of the health and safety of family and friends, the Dodson family asks that all visitors to the service please wear a mask.
