Ms. Avery Rena Cornelius, the one year old daughter of Trinity and Jacob Cornelius, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022.

Avery was born December 18, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center to Jacob Calvin and Trinity Alicia Young Cornelius. Avery was sassy and in charge from the time she entered the world. She was the center of attention for her large family. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Kenneth Young.

Surviving family members include her parents Jacob & Trinity Cornelius

Grandparents: Teresa & Arthur Young, Trena & Richard Norris, Bonnie & George Billings, Victor Cornelius

Aunts and uncles: Thristin Young, Michael Conley Young, Kenneth Lee Young, Regina Cole, Shawn Young, Steven Stafford, Darla Looney, Cody Cornelius and Briana Norris

Several extended family members also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Pentecostals Church of Sparta with burial in Taylor's Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:00pm Tuesday at the church. Michael Weedman will officiate.

Jacob Cornelius and George Billings will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Conley Young, Arthur Young, Richard Norris and Victor Cornelius.
