Mrs. Belinda Sue Heath Crain, age 74 of Sparta, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Belinda was born November 5, 1950 in Lexington, North Carolina to the late Albert Gentry and Helen Dean Pruitt Heath. Belinda was an avid reader and loved reading the Bible and writing down her notes. She enjoyed her time spent as a homemaker, in addition to making friends while working at the shirt factory in Sparta. Above all, Belinda adored her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was always delighted to spend time with them and receive new pictures of them.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepmother Irene Deem; a special Aunt Dot Helton; husband Nathanial Crain; daughter Susie Horton; stepdaughter Paula Walker Smith and stepsister Darlene Jackson.

Survivors include her children David (DeLeesa) Price of Sparta, Josh (Alicia) Price of Sparta, and Matt (Jennifer) Price of McMinnville,

Stepchildren: Charsie (Barney) Evans of Spencer, Iris Quinn, Barbara (Scott) Stephens, Pamela (Mike) Farris, Joyce (Steve) Hughes and Charles Crain

Grandchildren: Charles Price, Elizabeth Price, Vincent Price, Rayna Randolph, J.R. Horton, Andrew Price, Aubrey Randolph, Samuel Price, Ivory Price and Ethan Price

Siblings: Bennie Heath of Sparta, Melavie Heath of Sparta, and Denise (Tim) Roberson of Sparta

A host of step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, October 21,  2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Town Cemetery in Spencer. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00pm Monday at Hunter Funeral Home. Donnie Lawson will officiate.

Vincent Price, Andrew Price, Samuel Price, J.R. Horton, Tim Roberson and Barney Evans will serve the family as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ethan Price and Charles Price
