Betty Jean Simmons, age 87 of Quebeck, passed away on Wednesday morning July 7, 2021 at her residence.  She was born January 28, 1934 in Quebeck, TN to the late Claude Eugene and Betty Miller McBride.  She was also preceded in death by her sister: Lola Slatten and a infant brother and 2 infant sisters.

Betty was a long time member of the Quebeck Church of Christ.  She was a office clerk with Spartans and Suttons Shirt Factory for many years.

She is survived by her:  Son & Daughter-in-law:  Michael and Pamela Simmons of Sparta

2 Grandchildren:  Bobby Simmons of Sparta

Desiree  Simmons( Fiance' J.C. Carson) of Sparta

2 Great-grandchildren:  James and Kaine Carson

6 Sisters:  Claudine Whitworth of Sparta, Kathleen Rogol of Murfreesboro, Ruby Bennett of Walling, Zelma Brandenburg of Sparta, Deamie Willhite of Algood and Leta Humphrey of Sparta

2 Brothers:  Jim Neal of Doyle and Joe Neal of Sparta

along with several Nieces, Nephews a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Simmons Pallbearers will be Margaret Teeples, Judy Sain, Terri White, Tonya Mitchell, Desiree Simmons, and Pamela Simmons

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 10, 2021 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Jericho Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 am Saturday until Service time.  Bro. Joe Neal will officiate the service.
