Billie Wanda Edmonds, 93, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025. She was born on August 24, 1932, in White County, Tennessee. After marrying Walter Frank Edmonds, they moved to Michigan, where she dedicated her life to raising her family and was a proud member of the Eastern Star. While in Michigan, she worked at Albert's Department Store where she fondly spoke of selling dresses and furs. Later in life, Billie and Walt returned to their roots in Sparta, Tennessee. Upon returning home she worked at Cooper's Restaurant and in the cafeteria of Cassville School. Billie was a member of Plainview Freewill Baptist Church.

Billie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walt; her sister, Retha Highland; her brother Tommy, and her two sons, Johnny and Charlie Edmonds. She is survived by her son Waymond Allen Edmonds, granddaughter Stephanie Field, grandson Alex Edmonds, Alex's mother Kristina Edmonds, and great-grandsons Brennan and Noah Field, along with many other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Monday, October 13, 2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Monday at Hunter Funeral Home. Charles Curtiss will officiate.

Brennan Field, Noah Field, Alex Edmonds, John Edmonds, Jake Edmonds and Tommy Johnson will serve as Billie's pallbearers.
