Mr. Billy Virgil Polston, age 82 of Cookeville, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at Church of Christ Care Center in Clinton Township, Michigan.

Bill was born November 4, 1941 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Virgil Mansfield and Rosa Kinnaird Polston. He worked a variety of different manufacturing plants in Michigan before retiring back to White County. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Chaney Polston who died February 18, 2015; two brothers, Cecil Polston and Cleater Joe Polston and special nephew Bryce Polston.

Surviving family members include his two sons Jeff Polston and Steve Polston and wife Colleen of Michigan.

Three grandchildren Amanda, Noah, and Joshua Polston.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Thursday, August 8, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Nash Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm Wednesday at Hunter Funeral Home.  Doyle Crawford and Larry Acuff will officiate.
