Mr. Bobby Duke Westmoreland, age 74 of Sparta, passed away Thursday evening, September 15, 2022 at his residence.

Bobby was born June 8, 1948 in Celina, Tennessee to the late Basil Duke and Bessie Christine Cox Westmoreland. He retired from Cookeville Electric Motor after 39 years of service. Bobby enjoyed woodworking, welding, gardening and doing mechanic work. He was a member of Christpoint Church. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son Mike Westmoreland and grandson Barry Quinton Muse.

Daughters: Janet (Barry) Muse of Sparta, Tina Hancock of Jasper, GA

Fifteen grandchildren: Becca (Dylan) Riddle of Spencer, TN, Johnathan Westmoreland & Michelle Skinner, Tori Westmoreland & John Harris, Mikel Westmoreland of Sparta, Dakota Westmoreland of Pelham, Abby Westmoreland & Timothy Payne of Pelham, Devin Muse of Sparta, Savanah Muse of Sparta, Kaden Muse of Sparta, Janesta Graves of Bowling Green, KY, Corey Hancock of Hiawassi, GA, Cameron Hancock Andrew, N.C., Dawson Hancock of Jasper, GA, Emily Flatt of Kentucky

Seven great-grandchildren: Quinton Muse, Ja'ciah Graves, Da'ton Graves, Jeb Hancock, Gus Hancock, Liam Hancock and Elece Hancock

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Christpoint Church with burial in Black Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10:00am Saturday at the church. Tena Qualls, John Westmoreland, Charlie Westmoreland and Steve Qualls will officiate.

Dylan Riddle, Johnathan Westmoreland, Mikel Westmoreland, Dakota Westmoreland, Devin Muse, Kaden Muse and Dovie Westmoreland will serve as pallbearers.
