Mrs. Brenda Lee Wilkey Rose, age 60 of Cookeville, passed away at 4:55pm Monday, September 27, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Brenda was born April 22, 1961 in Elwood, Indiana.  She was a homemaker to her large family. She enjoyed playing games on her computer where she was a member of a Euchre League, an online card game with players from around the world in her league. She also loved to listen to country music. Her most treasured time though was being a mother and Nana to eight children, seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Joe Wilkey, Sr.; two sons, Christopher Nathan Cox and Sean Wesley Cox.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years William Rose

Children: Monty Cox, Jr., Rebecca Sizelove, Michael Cox & wife Amy, Lucy Sizelove-Shanks & husband Michael, Destiney Frady & fiance' Christopher Humes, Amanda Sizelove

Grandchildren: Abigail Lee, Ryan "Connor", Aurora, Ava, Kiley, Sean, Alexus, Vanessa, Kenzie, Haley, Ashton, Briley, Christopher, Dawson, Austin, Eathan and Chloe

Great-grandchildren: Grace, Niclouse, Elijah, Connor and Braxton

Brother: Joe Wilkey, Jr.

Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with Brenda's cremation and memorial services will be conducted 6:00pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Bro. Joe Wilkey, Jr. will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunter Funeral Home, PO Box 90, Sparta, TN 38583 to help the Rose family with funeral expenses.
