Mr. Brian Patrick Langdon, age 72 of Sparta, a native of New York, passed away at 12:23am Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Brian was born November 11, 1951 in West Carthage, New York to the late Patrick Glenn and Moya Heffron Langdon. He was a retired papermill maintenance technician. As an avid outdoorsman, Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in addition to spending time on his motorcycle and four wheeler. He loved watching college and professional football in the fall, as well as Syracuse Orange basketball in the winter. As an active member of Sparta First United Methodist Church, Brian proudly served as the soundboard operator and happily played his guitar for the congregation. Above all else, his proudest accomplishment was being Grandpa to his grandchildren and a loving husband to his wife of 51 years, Roxine.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by sisters Sybil Wilson and Lisa Rohr.

Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his wife Roxine Langdon who he married on May 5, 1973

Two daughters: Susan Ann Longale and husband Scott of Liverpool, NY, Julie Lynn Langdon of Clarendon Hills, IL

Son: Robert Glenn Landgon and wife Alexandra of Rochester, NY

Grandchildren: Pershephone, Morrigan, Alaric, Robert, Anthony, Caroline, Brooke and Cameron

Great-grandchildren: Adelynne, Silas and Raphael

Sister: Glenda Gooder and husband Harry

Visitation will be held at the Sparta First United Methodist Church on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 1:00pm until Memorial Service time at 3:00pm.
