Mrs. Carol Mae Horner Johnson, age 74 of the Cherry Creek Community, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center.

Carol was born November 20, 1948 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Milton Owen and Lois Bell Kinnard Horner. She retired from Tutco as a Quality Inspector after 37 years of service. She loved to cook and being a wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was an active member of Bradley Drive Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a brother R.P. Horner.

Carol is lovingly survived by her husband of 43 years Jackie D. Johnson

Son: Mitch Johnson and wife Brittani

Son: Randy "Slugo" Sliger and wife Julia

Grandchildren: Jake Dicus, Cole Dicus, Chloe Johnson, Caden Johnson and Aiden White

Step-daughter: Bennetta Littlefield and husband Dennis

Brother: Milton Horner, Jr. and wife Sandi

Aunt: Opal Burris

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, December 4, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Upper Cherry Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home. Les Ditto will officiate.

Rick Ditto, Justin Ditto, Josh Ditto, Caden Johnson, Aiden White and Morris Hunter will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Crouch, Lonnie Neal, Scott Nelson and David Hickey
