Mrs. Carolyn Jeaneane Rollins Carr, age 81 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Carolyn was born on October 2,1944 in Bon Air, Tennessee to the late Tommie and Martha McBride Rollins. She was a devoted and loving wife of 56 years to the late David Paul Carr. Carolyn and David married at an early age and started their family soon after. Carolyn often said she grew up with her three boys. Carolyn, known as Nana to her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, was always looking forward to her next visit with these joys of her life.

Carolyn worked part-time at S & A Storage in Sparta. She considered all who she worked with at S & A Storage as a part of her extended family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sparta, an avid genealogist, and an active member of the Captain Sally Tompkins 2123 UDC. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and planning her next trips with her family and special friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Matthew Carr; and a brother, Thomas "Glenn" Rollins.

Survivors include:

Sons:  Paul (Lynn) Carr of LaFollette, TN; Greg (Susan) Carr of Statesville, NC

Grandchildren:  Jeffrey Carr, Bryce Carr, Kimberly Carr, Erica Carr, and Olivia Carr

Great-grandchildren:  Cayson Taylor and Maisie Grady

Brother:  Charles Rollins of Chattanooga, TN

Sister-in-law:  Marie Bryant Rollins of Sparta, TN

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4 at the funeral home. Brad Walker will officiate.

Jeff Stewart, Ray Carr, Thomas Rollins, Bobby Rollins, Brian Rollins, and Dustin Holman will serve as pallbearers. Sandy Daniels and Darryl Carr will serve as honorary pallbearers.
