Mrs. Catherine Anne Buzzard Miller, better known as Cathy, age 75 of Sparta, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at NHC of Sparta.

Cathy was born May 6, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late James Ferguson and Elizabeth Jane McKiernan Miller. She was an Art Instructor. Cathy was an avid reader and she loved anything pertaining to art including crafts and sewing. She will be remembered for her fiesty spirit and always willing to help to a family member or friend. In addition to parents and siblings, she is also preceded in death by her husband John Russell Miller.

Survivors include her daughter Katie Flaminio and husband Tony of Sparta

Son: James Miller of Pennsylvania

Grandchildren: Emilia Balos and Olivia Flaminio

Great-grandchild: Madisyn Beerbower

Several nieces and nephews

In honor of Cathy's wishes, Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with her cremation and no services are planned.

The family encourages donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Cathy's memory.
