Charles Jeffrey Jones, age 50 of Sparta, affectionately known by Charlie to family and friends, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10:30pm surrounded by his family.

Charlie was born February 3, 1972 in Sparta, Tennessee to Frank Jefferson & Frances Joan Meadows Jones. He was retired from construction and truck driving. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his kids, especially his grandkids who loved him more than anything. If you met Charlie, you loved him. He had a way with people that made you instantly like him and you had a friend for life.

Charles is preceded in death by his grandparent, Irene & Jonah Meadows, Maude & Charlie Jones and grandson Brenden Chance "J.J." Jones, Jr.

Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his parents Frank & Joan Jones of Sparta

Three children whom he loved dearly, Takiela Spivey, Makenzie Faith Jones and Chance Jones all of Sparta

Two grandchildren: Jaxton Spivey and Addisyn Spivey both of Sparta

Brother: John (Brandi) Jones

Sister: Lisa (Terry) Simmons

Several loving nieces and nephews

His chosen brothers/friends Myles Cantrell and Colby Jhenandan

Best friend and mother of his children Renaye Jones Cooper

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, October 6, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. Nick Holman will officiate.

Myles Cantrell, Nick Simmons, Terry Simmons, Morgan Cravens, Colby Jhenandan, Josh Meadows, Chris "Biggen" Luna and Tracy Jones will serve the family as pallbearers.
