Mr. Charles Kenneth Pippin, age 93 of Sparta passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at the St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.  He was born November 4, 1929 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Henry and Alice Flatt Pippin.  He was also preceded in death by a infant son, brothers:  Henry Hobert Pippin, Jr., Lee L. Pippin &  Howard Pippin, and a sister:  Reba Pippin.

Kenneth was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He and his wife Thelma owned and operated the Clock Shop in Sparta.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years:  Thelma Lambert Pippin of Sparta

Son:  Charles Gregory Pippin, Ph.D. of Sparta

Special Friend & Physician for 30 years: Dr. Michael Kevin Smith of Nashville, whom will be officiating the service.

Also survived by other relatives,  his church families, and Clock Shop Patrons and Customers.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Highland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until Service time on Saturday.
