Charles Richard Poston, age 68 of Sparta, passed away on Monday evening October 11, 2021 at his residence.   He was born August 26, 1953 in Quebeck, TN to the late Carlos Lee Poston, Sr and Vella Mai Redmon Poston.  He was also preceded in death by a sister:  Barbara Graham.  Charles was retired from Thomas Industries and after retiring, he was the Custodian for the Doyle Elementary School.

He is survived by his wife:  Darlene Emerton Poston

Son: Charles Richard Poston, II and wife Sandra

3 Grandchildren:  Dustin Lee, Heather Cope & husband Dewayne, and Taylor Johnson & husband Tre

Great-Grandchildren:  Aleaha, Addilynn, Avery, and Audriana

Brother: Carlos Lee Poston, Jr. & wife Mary

Sister:  Brenda Roberts & husband Joe Lee

Along with several Nieces and Nephews, extended family and friends

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Old Bon Air Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Friday.  Bro. Richard Felts will officiate the services.
