Mr. Charles D. West age 68 of Walling, passed away 1:17pm Friday, November 3, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Charles was born November 10, 1954 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Charles Edward "Edd" Dempsey West and Vina Evelyn Yates West. He was a Tool & Die man. Charles was a Jack of All Trades and will be remembered as a friend to many. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years Karen West; half-brothers Howard and James Johnson.

Survivors include his companion and the mother of his three children Carman Sullivan

Three sons: Charles D. "Charlie" West, Jr., George Dean West and Tucker Ray West

Sister: Doris Jean Hodge

Half-brother: John Johnson

Nephews: Tim Johnson and Jerry Johnson

Niece: Cynthia Howard

Special friends: Donna Johnson and Dexter Lull

A host of friends also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Monday, November 6, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Old Philadelphia Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Monday at Hunter Funeral Home.

Tim Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Charlie West, Jimmy Bumbalough, Timothy Freeman and Landon Denton will serve as pallbearers.
