Charlie Lee Cloyd, Jr, age 81, of Doyle, TN, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025.  He was born on January 30, 1944, in Sparta, TN, to the late Charlie Lee Cloyd, Sr, and Mary Ellen Brown Bohannon.

Charlie grew up learning the farm life, and continued that practice into his retirement years.  With over 30 years of employment, he retired from Fleetguard in 2001.  Charlie was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.  He was a long time season ticket holder and spent many Saturdays cheering for the Tennessee Vols.  Charlie was a kind man with a giving heart, and he showed that character in the way he treated others.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Cloyd

Children: Trevanda (Tim) Allison, Mike (Lissa) Cloyd, Jason (Jill) Cloyd and Andrea (Terry) Geer

Grandchildren: Chance Howell, Macee Allison, Ashlyn (Scott) Scudder, Ty Cloyd, Allison (Michael) Farley, Michaela (Roggie) Haston, Casey (Ryan) Qualls, Joah (Patty) Simmons

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, October 19, 2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Skurlock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00pm Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home. John McCord and Paul Adkins will officiate.
