Mr. Chester Nation, age 87 of Sparta, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Nation was born October 20, 1933 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Clay M. and Aussie Sells Nation. He worked for Sparta Spoke Factory for 24 years. Chester loved to fish and was a fantastic shade tree mechanic. In addition to his parents, Chester is preceded in death by siblings Eugene Nation, Bill Nation, Betty Sue Harris and Florida Seibers.

Daughter: Teresa Ann McCormick and husband Donald

Grandchildren: NaShawn Miller, Miranda Brown, Amanda Williams, Brandie Smith

Great Grandchildren: Lukas Williams, Ryli Smith, Levi Brown, Serenity Brown and Courtney Grantham

Brother: Millard Nation and wife Jewel

Sister: Jewel Smith and husband Roger

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday, May 29, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00am-1:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Ronnie Taylor will officiate.
