Ms. Cindy Carol Gardner, age 57 of Sparta, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at
her residence.
Cindy was born November 14, 1967 in Sparta to Sam and Joyce Gardner. She was a
special and loving person who cared deeply for her friends and family. She was a loving
mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She helped so many people in her time here on
earth. Cindy was a member of North Sparta Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed
by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Verd and Eula Bumbalough;
paternal grandparents Sam and Hannah Choate; and nephew, C.J. Streeval;

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Carol Brown of Sparta;
Parents: Sam and Joyce Gardner;
Sisters: Tina (Kenny) Streeval, Rhonda Hale, both of Sparta, and Monica (Matt)
Hutcheson of Cookeville;
Brother: Samuel Gardner of Sparta;
Nieces and nephews: Kenley Clark, Kara Streeval, Jake Hale, and Hunter Gardner;
Great nieces and nephews: Gabe Clark, Karley Clark, Kaden Simmons, Stella Streeval,
Kloe Hale, and Huntlee Gardner;
Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at
Hunter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at
Hunter Funeral Home. Doug Hill will officiate.
