Obituary

Mr. Clyde Stacy Warrington, age 91 of Sparta, passed away at 6:40am Friday, October 11, 2024 at Life Care Center of Sparta in the Memory Unit.

Clyde was born November 21, 1932 on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Keshewa Wisconsin to the late Robert and Jennie Belle Stacy Warrington. Clyde was a commercial artist, most notably for Bellsouth phone company.  His drawings were showcased in phone books that spanned across five states. He was a six-time Purple Heart recipient during his service in Korea with the United States Army. Clyde will be fondly remembered for his jovial spirit and sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Christine Lawson Warrington who died February 9, 2011; sisters Wanda Guzman, Dottie Deusen and her husband Denny.

A host of nieces, nephews and extended family on the Menominee Reservation

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Steve Qualls will officiate the service.

Stacy Thorne, Kenny Rippetoe, Roger Morris, Caleb Pope, Adam Lawson, Clyde Morris, Larry Abney and Ryan Gesing will serve the family as pallbearers.
