Mr. Craig Bryan Woodward, age 60 of Sparta, passed away at 7:27am Saturday morning, February 19, 2022 at St. Thomas Dekalb Hospital.

Mr. Woodward was born August 31, 1961 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Harold Newton and Dolores Voide Woodward. He was a former concrete construction worker. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish and garden. He loved deep sea fishing when he lived in Connecticut. Above all else, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers Harold "Tim" Woodward and Gary Woodward.

Surviving family members include his wife of 33 years Angela Dyer of Sparta

Step-son: Jessy Dashnaw of Sparta

Grandchildren: Zachary, Joah, Logan, Taylor, Gracie, Konor and Lilly Dashnaw

Sisters: Mary (Ivan Cyr) Woodward and Janet (Kenneth) Keefe all of Connecticut

Brothers: David (Stacie) Woodward of Vermont, Larry (Robin) Woodward, Mark (Eileen) Woodward all of Connecticut

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

In honor of Mr. Woodward's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, February 26, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00pm Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home
