Mr. Daniel Lynn Kirby, age 39 of Sparta, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024.

Daniel was born May 7, 1985 in Crossville, Tennessee. He was a C&C Operator for Cherokee Steel in Lebanon, Tennessee. Daniel was a member of the choir at the former Redeemed Church in Lebanon and that experience gave him the confidence to pursue his passion of music. He was a member of Lil Town where his instrument in the band was his voice and songwriting. If he was not performing he enjoyed being at home gardening however, his Sundays were devoted to the Tennessee Titans.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father Charles Frederick Kirby and his special aunt that raised him, Glenda Faye Stinnett Johnson.

Sister: Christy Kirby Bell

Nephew: Zaidyn James Kirby

Grandmother: Enda Lois Kirby

Aunt: Shirly Renee Kirby

Cousins: Lanny, James and Adam Stinnett, Nick Slatten, Sarah Cannon and Chris Slatten

Step-brothers: Jay Jay Bolden, Josh Bolden

Step-sister: Tabitha Bolden

Honorary Sons: Gabe & Shane Newton, Jasper Burton-Wilson

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Monday, October 14, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Monday at Hunter Funeral Home.

Jesse Kirby, Zachary Richardson, Jordan Jolley, Chet Williams, Lanny Stinnett, Adam Stinnett, James Stinnett, Nick Slatten and James Burton will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers are Jesse Owens, Casey Walker, Tim Vandergriff, Matthew Poston, Shannon Hale and Sean King
