Mr. David Ray Scott, age 55 of Doyle formerly of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away at 2:18pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at St. Thomas Riverpark Hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee as a result of Covid-19.
David was born August 22, 1966 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was an entrepreneur and former owner of a successful medical billing company. David was active in the business community as a member of the Mt. Juliet Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. He was also active in the Doyle Nazarene Church where he served as Sound & Technology Coordinator. He was always eager to help his church and church family with his unmatched technical prowess and engineering skills. Above all else, he loved his family and will always be remembered for his selflessness and generosity to loved ones in need.
David is preceded in death by his mother Suzzanne Pollock Cadmus and sister Debbie Bain.
Survivors include his three children Melissa (Chris) Robertson, Skyler Scott and Ethan Scott

Siblings: Denine (Steve) Cates, Doug (Laura) Scott, Paul (Sharon) Poland
Several nieces and nephews, and lots of great nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Monday, October 4, 2021 at Doyle Nazarene Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-8:00pm and Monday after 10:00am at the church. Tracy Curtis will officiate.
Ethan Scott, Doug Scott, Paul Poland, Jr., Paul Poland, III, Darrille Tole and Mason Parks will serve as pallbearers.
