Mrs. Jenny Deborah Stacy Rice more affectionately known as Debbie, age 64, of Wartburg, Tennessee, a native of White County, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Melbourne, Florida.

Debbie was born October 9, 1956 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Joe C. and Betty Jane Looney Stacy. Debbie loved the beach life, especially walking on the beach. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her large family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister Wanda Jeanette Brown.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years Billy Michael Rice of Wartburg, TN

Two sons: Brandon Michael Rice of Rockwood, TN. and Joseph Dillon Rice of Wartburg, TN

Three sisters: Peggy Jo Bandy and husband Jim of Cookeville, Louise Girdley and husband Keith of Sparta, Gladys Faye Denton of Sparta

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00pm Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00pm until service time at Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will follow 10:00am Wednesday at Jericho Cemetery, the procession to the cemetery will leave Hunter Funeral Home at 9:30am. Donald Lee Haston will officiate.

Alec Haston, Payden Haston, Darrell Reed Haston, James C. Bandy, Richard E. Denton, Christopher Brown and Josh Ward will serve the family as pallbearers.
