Dimple Dean Barnes Burris, age 78 of Sparta passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the NHC of Sparta.  She was born December 13, 1943 in Sparta to the late Wilburn and Myrtie Nash Barnes.  She was also preceded in death by her grandson: James Taylor,  Sister:  Barbara Gammon,  Brother:  Franklin Roe Nash, and her companion: Howard "Slick" Craig.

Dimple was a member of the Quebeck Baptist Church and owned and operated the "Home Away from Home" Daycare.  She loved kids and having fun.

She is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-Law:  Sharon & J.T. Taylor

Grandsons: Jason McCurry & wife Sierra

and Chet Taylor

Great-Grandchildren:  Brody, Eren, Jack, Aiden, Olivia, Colton, Katie, and Dallas

Sister:  Roberta Brock & husband Buddy

Brother:  Donald Barnes

Along with Hundreds of Kids she took care of in her Daycare.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Doyle Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time on Monday.  Bro. David Bratcher will officiate
