Ms. Donna Jean Dennis Dilldine, age 81 of Sparta, passed away at 10:48am Friday, February 21, 2025 at her residence surrounded by family.

Donna was born March 23, 1943 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Gladys Dennis. Donna had a work career that spanned from factory work to ultimately retiring from Wal-Mart after 11 years of service. She spent some of her retirement years keeping Hunter Funeral Home clean and ready to serve families. She enjoyed her summer months sunbathing next to her pool. She loved to keep a clean house, loved her dog but her greatest love was for her family and especially the ones that knew her as Granny. In addition to her mother, she is also preceded in death by her son Timothy Allen "Timmy" Pryor, who passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018; grandson Ken Oconner; brother Leonard Dennis and sister Linda Lee.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her son Jerry (Rhonda) Pryor of Sparta

Daughter: Teresa Oconner of Michigan

Daughter: Tina Dilldine of Sparta

Grandchildren: Chad (April) Pryor, Trish (Jason) Carner, Jennifer Shurga, Tom Oconner, Eysha (Adam) Smith, Courtney (Lee) Chavez

Fifteen great-grandchildren

Sisters: Shirley Hill, Marvene Dodson and Lois Gilbert

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, February 21, 2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family wlll receive friends after 12:00pm Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home. Clint Walker will officiate.

Junior Jones, Scott Vincent, Chad Pryor, Tom Oconner, Bob Welker, Adam Smith and Trenton Pryor will serve as pallbearers
