Mr. Earl Smith, age 91 of Sparta passed peacefully at home October 21, 2024, after an extended illness.  He was the son of the late Walter and Lena Howell Smith. He was preceded in death by wife Dina Pearl Smith, brother Von Smith, Sister Polly Gibson and companion of 32 years Rozella Abston.

He is survived by:  Sister Joyce Whiteaker

Step-son: Steve (Janie) Randolph

Grand-daughter: Whitney (Tyler)Mullins

Nieces: Maria (Steve) Moore and Emily Jones

Nephew:  Baron Smith

Bonus Family:  Becky (Todd) Stanton, Hannah and Emily Stanton, Shirley WInningham, Greg (Libby) Abston, Teresa (Tim) Lewis, Regina Commander, Cassandra Dunivan

and his Bondecroft Baptist Church family

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children Hospital

Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Old Zion Cemetery. Bro. Jason Lewis will officiate the service. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
