Mr. Eddie Ray Tolbert, age 64 of Doyle, passed away in the Emergency Room of St. Thomas Highlands Hospital at 7:14pm on Monday, January 13, 2025.

Eddie was born December 13, 1960 in Doyle, Tennessee. He was a sawmill worker. He enjoyed fishing and sitting by the spring on his grandfather's farm. Eddie is preceded in death by his mother Mary Edwina Sparkman Simmons; father Willard Ray Tolbert; grandparents, Luther and Bertha Sparkman and Roscoe and Rachel Tolbert.

Survivors include his brother Timothy Tolbert and wife Mary of Doyle

Nieces: Chazlynn Hood of Doyle, Rachel Blevins of Michigan

Nephews: Jordan Tolbert of Doyle and Adam Swack of Sparta

Eddie's family has entrusted Hunter Funeral Home with his cremation and a memorial service will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Doyle Church of the Nazarene. Tracy Curtis will officiate.
