Mrs. Edwina Rich Nash, age 94 of Sparta, passed away at 8:20am on Monday, August 22, 2022 at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.

Mrs. Nash was born January 20, 1928 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Harm Martin & Nannie Mae Stacy Rich. She was a homemaker and farmer. She would tend to the family's livestock but she loved all animals, especially cats. She enjoyed riding her four wheeler to the barn and on her farm. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Frankie Lowell Nash who died on November 3, 2006; sisters Gertie Jane Minnear and Lorene Kirby; brother James Martin Rich.

Survivors include her son Frank Junior (Carolyn) Nash

Daughter: Brenda Fay Nash

Grandchildren: Crystal (Eric) Koger, Cory (Jo) Nash, Douglas (Louise) Martin, Shelly Martin, Denise (Greg) Martin, Tina (Isaac) Blaylock

Great-grandchildren: Halli (Jesse) Haywood, Lexi (Robert) Agee, Emma Nash, Michael Martin, Samantha Kirby, Cody Marsh, Brent & Samantha Dillon, Shellene (Aaron) Boggs, Douglas Clouse, Allie & Monica Young, Tisha Clouse

Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, August 25, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. Randall Kirby and Jesse Haywood will officiate.

Eric Koger, Cory Nash, Jesse Haywood, Brent Dillon, Douglas Martin and Douglas Clouse will serve as pallbearers.
