Mrs. Erma Nell Kay, passed to her eternal home at the Life Care Center in Sparta, Tennessee on November 16, 2021 at the age of 90.

Mrs. Kay was born in El Reno, Oklahoma on March 3, 1931 to the late Thomas Norton Sharp and Nellie Clark Sharp.

Erma was a retired data entry operator from Colorado State University. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sparta and enjoyed mission work, playing the organ, sewing, camping, grandmothering and praying for her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister Lois Riley; brother Thomas Sharp; half brother Berrie Stephens and her husband of 59 years, Earl E. Kay.

Erma is survived by children Eddie and Pamela Kay, Carol and Joe Headrick all of Sparta, Dennis and Sissy Kay of McMinnville and Bonnie and Mike Fisher of Fort Collins, Colorado

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm November 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until service time on the 26th at the Church. Bro. Kevin Weldon will officiate.

Will Agan, Hayden Agan, Andrew Fisher, Keith Fisher, John Kay and Mark Sharp will serve the family as pallbearers. Dillon Kay will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
