Mr. Franklin Duayne Hood, better known as Frank, age 69 of Sparta, passed away unexeptectedly on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Frank was born January 18, 1956 in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late William and Betty Rhea Hood. He was a former construction worker and  a Jack-of-all trades. He was proficient in plumbing and electrical work. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He dedicated his retirement years to fishing and spending time with is grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a sister Wanda Hood.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years Deborah Ann Mason Hood

Two sons: Michael Timothy Walsh and Andrew Josphet Hood

Daughter: Kevlin Michelle Hood

Five grandchildren

Sister: Judy Hood

In honor of Frank's wishes, Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation and no public services are planned.
