Obituary

Mr. Gary Lee Heady, II, or affectionately known by family and friends as Little Gary, age 47 of Sparta, passed away at 6:07am, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Hardin Memorial Baptist Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Little Gary was born March 4, 1974 in Cookeville, Tennessee to Gary Lee and Linda Joyce Allen Heady. He was loved by everyone lucky enough to have known him; he had a special love for children and the elderly. Gary was an avid fisherman and talented artist who was well liked for his tattoo artistry. He loved reading, especially those stories by Stephen King. Gary is preceded in death by grandparents, William and Lillian Allen, Ray and Doris Roberts, OJ Loftis and Barbara Heady; aunts Sandra Price and Karen Hall; uncles Wayne and Michael Heady, Stanley and Michael Allen.

He is survived by his parents Gary Lee and Linda Joyce Allen Heady

Sister: Misty Dawne Stegall and husband Ron

Grandfather: Marvin Heady

Nieces: Linda, Lillian and Lisa Stegall

Nephews: Ronnie and Jacob Stegall

A very special friend Dana Seabolt

Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Elrod Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Derek Wilson will officiate.

Ronnie Stegall, Stanley Allen, Nathan Heady, Jacob Stegall, Christian Seabolt and Jason Allen will serve the family as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Arnold Bean and Jeff Saylors
