Mrs. Gennie Rebecca Freeman Hall, age 51 of Sparta, passed away, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at her residence.

Gennie was born December 19, 1972 in Peoria, Illinois. She was a former LPN and a veteran of the United States Army. She loved fishing, camping and croqueting. Her greatest joy was being Memaw to her adoring family. Gennie is preceded in death by her father Danny Alan Freeman.

Survivors include her husband of 13 years Joe Hall

Three daughters: Patience (Max) Blum, Amber (Joshua) Dashnaw, Josie Freeman and fiance' J.R. Mathis

Step-sons: Joe Hall, Jr. and Stephen Hall

Grandchildren: Serenity Blum, Rylie Blum, Paige Dashnaw and Binjin Blum

Three step-grandchildren

Mother: Gloria McGarr

Sisters: Kathryn, Debra, Kathleen, Michelle and Pamela

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

The Hall family has entrusted Hunter Funeral Home with Gennie's cremation and no public services are planned
