Gregory John Kennard, 77, of Walling, Tennessee, was called home to the Lord on February 17, 2023. Gregory was born in Willard, Ohio on February 21, 1945, the first son of John S. Kennard and Beulah (Lykins) Kennard. Gregory served in the Marine Corps. and was honorably discharged prior to earning a PhD in Chemistry for the University of Cinncinati in 1977.

Members of his family include his beloved wife of 32 years, Beverly Diane (Holt) Kennard, his daughter Alysia Kennard and her partner Kyle Rines, son Reed Kennard and wife Meghan and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Gregory also leaves behind his faithful companions Rainbow, Rocky and Princess. Gregory was predeceased by his mother Beulah, father John, sisters Donna Haynes and Jeannie Edwards and brothers Randy and Jeff Kennard.

Gregory loved the Lord Jesus and fervidly studied his word; teaching himself Greek to have a deeper understanding. He was passionate about sharing this knowledge with others and enjoyed teaching anyone that would listen.

Gregory was a kind and compassionate man who was always willing to lend a a helping hand. He was a lifelong sportsman who will be remembered for his love of God, country and science fiction. Gregory was called home peacefully with his wife and dogs by his side due to complications of cancer.

Burial will be in New Hampshire later in the Spring
