Mr. Harold Moore, age 70, went home to be with Jesus at 10:00am Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Harold was born August 21, 1952 in Sparta, Tennessee to the Nell Wilhite Moore and the late Robert "Bob" Taylor Moore. Harold retired after 46 years of service as a switchman for Frontier, formerly known as GTE. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and an active member of Hamptons Crossroads Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He loved all sports, especially volleyball and playing golf with his grandson. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by infant siblings Brenda Faye and Alan Wayne Moore.

Wife of 50 years Patricia Williams Moore

Two sons: Justin Moore and wife Casey, Kyle Moore

Two grandchildren whom he dearly loved Allie and Jace

One Brother and his family: Bobby Moore and wife Carolyn, Randy Moore and wife Greta, Vanessa Sparks, Karen Reed and husband Steve

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws whom he considered his close family

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Hamptons Crossroads Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will follow in Howard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm Wednesday and after 10:00am Thursday at the church. Harold's brother Bobby and Pastor Maston Jackson will officiate.

Randy Moore, Jerry Wilhite, Shane Williams, Rod Williams, Ryan Williams and Josh Rice will serve the family as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jace Moore, Rick Williams, David Williams and Jeremy Wilhite.
