Mrs. Helen June Farley Taylor Dodson, age 74 of Sparta, passed away at 11:34am Thursday, November 2, 2023 at her residence.

Helen was born February 17, 1949 to the late Claude Paul and Ethel Nash Farley. Helen was a loving mother to more than just her own. If anyone was ever at her house, family or not, she made sure to feed them before leaving. In addition to being a loving caregiver, she enjoyed genealogy and word puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by sisters Ann Kinnard and Mildred Wheeler; brothers Carl Farley, Roy Farley, Willous Farley and Billy Joe Farley.

Children: Lyle (Missie) Taylor, Josh (Sylvia) Dodson, Julie Wilson

Grandchildren: Kevin Adams, Jazmine (Cody) Maynard, David Wilson, Terrie Shea (Dallas) Taylor, Justin Wilson, Gavin (Laura) Taylor, Quinn Dodson

Great-grandchildren: Carson, Melea, Kaysen, Leo, Tyson, and one on the way

Sister: Mary Allen

Brother: Paul Farley

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Nash Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home.

Gavin Taylor, Terry Brewington, Jeremiah McPeak, Greg Jackson, Cody Maynard, Lanny Wheeler Patton, Dallas Slatton and Kevin Adams will serve as pallbearers.
