Herbert Lynn "Doc" Dockery age 73 of Sparta, passed away Monday morning, July 1, 2024 at his residence.  He was born February 1, 1951 in Sparta to the late Benton and Cora Fletcher Dockery.  He was also preceded in death by a brother: Buck Dockery.  Doc was an avid outdoorsman who was great at wood works and was credited with being able to fix anything.

He is survived by his wife:  Mary Dockery

Son:  Michael (Terri) Dockery

Daughter:  Janet (Bill) McMurry

Step-daughter:  Jennifer Baker

5 Grandchildren:  Kaylee Kleisley, Madison Breedlove, Allison Dockery, Haily Wilson, and Mitchell Lamb

2 Great-Grandchildren:  Avery & Axell

Sister:  Edna Dabbs

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Frasers Chapel Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends from 4 pm until 8 pm on Friday evening.  Bro. Danny Moore will officiate the services.
