Hubert was born to Huey And Stella Barr in White County Tennessee on November 17th, 1938, on Gum Springs Mountain, where he spent many of his childhood days.

He is a father to five daughters, and was loving, tender, giving and kind. -a Uncle, a Nephew, and a friend to many and would give you the shirt off his back. From us 5 girls, he has Grand Children and Great Grand Children

Hubert is preceded in death by his mother and father, Huey and Stella Barr, His sister Mary Ann and brother Kenneth.

Hubert is survived by his daughters - Lynn, Lisa, Holly, Stella and Becky, his grandchildren and great grandchildren - Christopher, Michael, Nicholas, Corey, Jeremiah, Andrew, Ian, Debbie, Kayla, Carina, April, Bradley, Kassian, Michelle, Anthony, Savannah, Khalia, Amanda, Kyra, Jaiden, Lilyana, Kaylee, Alexander, Aisley, Hazel, Madelyn, Violet, Lyliana, Ruby Mae, Joshua, Nolan, Calliope, Alayna, Kieran, Luca, Isaiah, NEW babies on the way, nieces and nephews.

Dad was a handsome man who had an affinity for electronics and small motors at a very young age, which became hobbies along with cars and motorcycles. He went into the Navy and became an Interior Communications Technician. Following his Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Navy, he became an Aircraft Instrument Mechanic in the Civil Service.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 24, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Hensley Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with burial in the Graham-Young Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the church from 10:30am until Service time at the church. Bro Ray Buster Young will officiate the service.

Dad gave his life to The Lord and was baptized in August 2026, we REJOICE that he is now with our maker. He will be terribly missed, until we meet again.
