Mr. Jackie Ted "Jack" Davis, Sr., age 83, passed away 12:48pm Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Davis was born May 7, 1938 in Briceville, Tennessee to the late Norman and Leona Blaylock Davis. For 21 years, he owned Davis Construction, a company that specialized in water line installation in Ootewah, Tennessee. When he retired and moved back to White County, he was well known by his employment at the Bon Air Convenience Center. Jack was fortunate enough to marry the love of his life, Mary Ann Brock, on August 12, 1982 which began an almost 40-year-journey together. He was an avid outdoorsman and deer hunter. His 21pt buck garnered national attention when he was published in a hunting publication. Jack was still able to hunt with Hope Outdoors after his health declined to the point he could no longer go by himself. Above all else, his proudest accomplishment was being "Pa" to his beloved grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by brothers Junior Davis and Jimmy Davis, sister Virginia Davis and grandson Gary "GW" Evans.

Daughter: Karen "Sissy" Evans
Son: Jackie "Ted" Davis and wife Dedra
Brother: Les Davis and wife Regina
Sister: Beulah "Tootsie" Davis and husband Lester
Sisters-in-law: Connie Davis, Debbie Wood and husband Steve, Teresa Smith, Pam Dillard
Brother-in-law: Tommy Brock
Grandchildren: Jack Dodson, Jo Dodson, Devon Goldman and husband Ben
Great Grandchildren: Bianca & Will Goldman
A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that loved him dearly
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, February 6, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Eastland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4-8:00pm and again Sunday after noon at Hunter Funeral Home. Jacky Braley and Keith Braley will officiate the service.
Rusty Dodson, Don Earl Hammonds, Mike Parker, Ronnie Blaylock, John Ford and Arthur Roberts will serve the family as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ted Davis, Jack Dodson and Jo Dodson.
