Mr. James Thomas Webb, affectionately known as "Bear Track", age 92 of Sparta, passed away at 10:32pm Friday, May 20, 2022 at Tri Star Northcrest in Springfield, Tennessee.

Bear Track was born November 8, 1929 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Roy and Jesse Francis Cummings Webb. He was a retired shirt factory worker. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Korea. Bear Track was remembered as a standout high school football player and he loved to take long walks twice a day. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his daughter Emmaline Webb; grandson Josh Webb; sisters Jessie Mae Culley and Nelda Pincheon; special friend, Mary Christine Cummings.

Surviving family members include his step-daughter Dorthy Cullom

Nieces: Debra Brewington and Susie Robinson

Nephews: Samuel "Toby" Culley, David Culley, Ulysses Grant Culley, Jeffery "Shotgun" Culley

Grandchild: Quonisha Webb

Great-grandchildren: Devin Lawera and Ayrianna Webb

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, May 27, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Burial with military honors by the Veterans' Honor Guard will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home.

Samuel "Toby" Culley, Tyree Culley, Chris Brewington, Braden Brewington, James Henry Dibrell, Trenton Brewington,Trey Brewington and Lynn Brewington will serve as pallbearers.
