Mr. Jerald Douglas Slatten, age 89 of Quebeck, passed away at 6:38am on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jerald was born February 13, 1936 in Quebeck to the late Frank and Nannie Belle Mason Slatten. He was retired from Thomas Industries. Jerald was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish and farm. He always enjoyed a good conversation with friends and neighbors and he was always a good source of entertainment.

Surviving family members include his son Mike Slatten and wife Melissa of Rockvale, TN

Granddaughters: Haley (Henry) Martin and Morgan Slatten

Brothers: Wayne (Faye) Slatten and Reed Slatten

Nieces: Kim (Alex) Savage, Wendy (Dillard) Quick and Debbie Slatten

Beloved Companion Faye Horton and her family, Rick (Dana) Dildine, Ben (Kaci) Dildine, Erick (Ryan) Dildine, Staci (Brandon) Thomas and Danielle Dildine

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00pm Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Jericho Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until departure for the cemetery at 1:30pm Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. Doug Goff will officiate.

Rick Dildine, Ben Dildine, Erick Dildine, David McBride, Greg Hutson and Steve Lowery will serve the family as pallbearers.
