Jerry Lynn Davis, Jr., age 37, a devoted father, husband, brother and friend passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 12, 2022.

Jerry was born February 13, 1985 in Sparta, Tennessee. He was a plumbing contractor who had recently started his own business. As an avid outdoorsman, he loved to spend his time by bonfire, on his four wheeler, or shooting his rifle. His greatest joy was being a father to his son and sharing all of those outdoor moments with him. He loved his family's annual trip to Miramar Beach, Florida - the same beach where he and his wife married in 2008. He was a dependable friend to his family and friends whenever they were in need of help.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father Jerry Lynn Davis, Sr.; his grandparents that raised him, George Donald and Daisy Lydia Davis; uncles Randall Eugene Davis and Donald Glenn Davis.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 14 years and Middle School Sweetheart Shonda Conti-Davis

Son and best friend: Dominic Matthew Davis

Brother: Travis Vaughn (Meagan) Davis and their children Alden and Lydia

Sister: Kayla Jalayne (Levi) Zinkhon and their children Preston and Nolan

Mother and father-in-law and longtime guardians Matt and Lori Conti

Sister-in-law: Angela (Justin) Redden and their daughter Gianna

Mother: Cheryl Roberts

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday, September 17, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in West Cemetery in Putnam County. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home. Brice Murphy will officiate.

Donnie Davis, John Davis, Adam Davis, Nick McCowan, Zane LaFever and Justin Redden will serve the family as pallbearers.
