Jerry Wayne Farley, affectionately known as "Red" age 63 of Sparta, passed away Friday afternoon August 19, 2022 at Ascension St. Thomas Dekalb Hospital.

Red was born August 6, 1959 in Crossville, Tennessee. He was a truck driver but his passion was working on automobiles with his paint and body business. His hobbies included paint and body work if he was not driving a truck or driving a truck if he was not doing paint and body work. Red is is preceded in death by his father Willard V. "Buddy" Farley; brother Paul D. Farley; step-father Charles C. Henry and step-son Brandon Harold Cravens.

Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his wife Debbie Goney Nash Farley

Mother: Peggy Joyce Henry

Three sons: Joey Marshall, Stephen (Nickole) Farley and Stanley Farley all of Sparta

Daughter: Jennifer Seibers of Florida

Sister: Kathy Allred and husband Mark

Brother: Andy Henry and wife Christina

Step-daughters: Wendy (Derek) Lafever and Daisy Nash

2 great-grandchildren

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Big Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm Monday at Hunter Funeral Home.
