Mr. Jimmy Eugene Parks, Jr., age 62 of the Ravenscroft Community passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his residence.

Jimmy was born June 6, 1962 in Crossville, Tennessee to the late Jimmy Eugene and Julia Ann Blaylock Parks. He was 1981 graduate of White County High School. He retired from Ficosa North America after a lengthy career as a supervisor with Perdue Farms and Mallory. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the mountains. He greatest love was for his daughter, family and the Lord. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Daniel Ray Kirby.

Survivors include his daughter Hillary Leanne (Andrew) Jenkins of Sparta

Sister: Donna Sue Kirby of Sparta

Nieces: Rachel Clarice Parks (Phillip) Young, Leah Dawn Parks (Jordan) Short

Nephews: Daniel Eugene Kirby and Jonathan Michael (Amanda) Kirby

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, August 2, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Smith Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Allen Jones will officiate.
