Mr. Johnny Ray Blaylock, age 64 of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at his residence.

Johnny was born September 27, 1960 in the Ravenscroft Community. He was retired from Tri-State. Johnny was an active member of East Sparta Church of God and a proud veteran of the National Guard. He enjoyed racing but above all, he loved being Papa to his family. Johnny is preceded in death by his father Cleveland Blaylock.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years Rosalee Jones Blaylock

Daughter: Kellie Blaylock Studley and husband John

Son: Johnny Lee Blaylock

Daughter: Kimberly Irene Vance

Mother: Cecil Williams Warren

Grandchildren: Elizabeth Ann Davis, Quinton Prater, Jared Prater, Lindsay Walker, Katie Smith, Abigail Smith

Two brothers: Cletus Blaylock and Billy Blaylock

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Saturday, December 14, 2024 at East Sparta church of God. Burial with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Shockley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm Friday at the church. Bishop Charles Dotson will officiate.

John Studley, Lee Blaylock, Colby Blaylock, Brandon Jones, Quinton Prater,  & Jordan Jones will serve as pallbearers.
