Funeral services for Johnny Woodrow Doney age 67 will be held 3:00pm Friday, March 4, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home in Sparta. Burial will follow at Nash Cemetery in White County. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00pm Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. Ron Phillips and Josh Hodum will officiate.

Johnny passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at NHC in Smithville. He was born September 27, 1954 to the late Woodrow and Gracie Polston Doney. He enjoyed drinking coffee and listening to music. He loved being outdoors and gardening.

Survivors include his two sisters Cathy Randolph of Sparta and Linda Gail Allen of Rock Island, Tennessee.
