Mr. Jordan Arthur Young, age 23 of Sparta, passed away at 2:35am Friday, April 8, 2022 one day shy of his 24th birthday at Wyndridge Health and Rehab in Crossville, Tennessee.

Jordan was born April 9, 1998 in Sparta, Tennessee. Prior to a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed 6 years ago, he loved to go swimming at the lake, riding go-carts and dirt bikes. He made the most of his life in a wheelchair, often pulling residents of Wyndridge around with his motorized wheelchair and making the CNA's dodge out of his way. He loved worshiping and learning the Bible with the ministry provided by Eddie and Lina. Jordan is preceded in death by his father Frederick Lee "F.L." Young who died on January 12, 2018.

A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Monday, April 11, 2022 at Hensley Chapel Baptist Church with burial in Young Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00pm Sunday at the church. Marty Carr and Dewey Young will officiate.

Kelly McBride, Garry Knowles, Jade Smith, Jasper Young, Logan Lough, Ryan Slaven, Devon Kelsey and Derrick Young will serve as pallbearers.
